Back Yard Safari

The other day my grand-kids went a huntin' big game. Frogs. "Letmesee-lemmesee-lemmesee." There were oh, maybe a million wee green flappers hopping through the grass. I love to be reminded of what pure joy looks like.

A frog hunt? I'd probably be brave enough to go on a frog hunt. I'd be smart like your grandkids, though, and wear long pants so the critters wouldn't jump on my leg.....ewwww.

Yeah, Shelley, you must have Safari attire to go on a Safari. I once went huntin' frogs at night. I heard this huge bullfrog (I thought) and snuck around the lake through the tall reeds with my flashlight. I kept hearing a "Hunn..Hunnn...Hunnn" sound and so I crept closer, closer... until suddenly this gigantic monster goose flew into my face squaaking and Hunnking. Scared the webbing off my toes...

Haha! Geese really can be terrifying (and mean!)

If you like kids and frogs, you really must watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CZcvQzf6pc&feature=related

Typical toddler mentality. I laughed a lot.
